Not too long back I suffered a serious issue with my PS3. Yup, all the unexpected I was looking at black screen on my TV and was sure I had a broken PS3. I literally drove myself silly for a few weeks trying to work out what the issue was. I was certain I was going to be forced to either send my PlayStation away for repair or merely go out and buy a new one.
I definitely had no wish to drop $400 on a new system. And the concept of sending my system away, paying $150 for a repair and waiting six weeks for it to be dispatched back wasn’t that appealing either. I wish I had known there were PS3 repair guide available!
So I set out to work out determined to work out ways to fix my broken PS3 on my own.
First thing i figured out swiftly. There’s a lot of bad information out there. And, I mean a lot. But I was able to pick up 1 or 2 good ps3 fix tricks. And I also discovered there are actually a few issues except for just the black screen issue.
Anyhow, here are some tips I revealed that sound right and essentially helped 1 or 2 people.
You can reset your machine by powering your PS3 down, then holding the power button in for a total of 5 seconds. You should hear a beep confirming that your system has been reset to defaults. After this makes sure you check all connections of your console. It is also an excellent idea to re-seat your drive by removing it and setting it back in.
These easy tips will really decipher most peoples issues ; whether you are going through a blinking error, a problem with your PS3 Bluetooth controller, issues with freezing flicks and games, and no display errors.
